Let me start out with a recap of my weekend..
Started out with my uncle's wedding on Saturday.. where a plan was hatched with some of my cuzins to head to parkway parade. I was supposed to help my cuzin pick out a camera for her fiancee.. after all, i was deemed the expert on cameras coz i brought my camera almost everywhere i go... :P
After getting the camera, we went shopping ard Parkway Parade, which was still crowded at 10+pm... thanks to the great singapore sale. Since we felt the night was still young, we decided to go to East Coast and rest our tired feet..
My bro-in-law n sis came to pick us up ard 2+am and the five of us squeezed into the back of the car. Which is of coz not allowed in Singapore. Maximum allowed is only 3. So it was only right that we came across a road block. Sheesh.. everyone was scared shitless.. But fortunately, Mr Policeman was kind enough and let us go with just a disbelieving smile. Phew~
Sunday was another action pack day.. Why? Coz i went to watch Xmen3 - The Last Stand! Pre-booked, coz we wanted to watch it at the best cinema with the best seats!
Best. Xmen. Movie. Ever.
Also the last one to be made.. which is sad.. coz it truly was such a great movie. So many surprises, unexpected deaths, new mutants, etc etc. I really wish they would make another Xmen movie after this but i don't think it's gonna happen. Those who have watched it would understand. It just won't be the same. I don't think the planned Wolverine movie would be able to fill in the Xmen void. =( I know i sound like a geek.. but i dun care! I love the movie.
For those who have not watched it yet, stay on after all the credits to catch a short clip. U'll get another surprise then. Oh.. and Beast is superb! Kelsey Grammer aka Frasier was perfect for the role coz of his deep voice and accent. The BF however was not as impressed as i was... coz he's obviously a bigger geek when it comes to Xmen.. he doesn't like the fact that quite a few story plots were changed from the original comics and cartoons. Told u he's a bigger geek. :P
Ok.. enuf geek talk.. I'm excited for this weekend coz my parent's are coming back from Chennai for 2 weeks! Yay!
