So last Sunday we went to celebrate Liana's b'day. Where did we go?
Hyatt's Straits Kitchen. It's halal except for the drinks section. They have a separate drinks section and all the other sections has a halal cert.
Mcm anak orang kaya pulakz eh asik gi makan kat hotel jer.. no more hotel buffets!
They basically serve mostly local food.. but the quality is very syok! If ur lookin for exotic, never tried before type of food, u won't find it here. They have local dishes from satay to laksa (so yummy dat me n syu had 2 bowls each) to carrot cake to naan. But they were yummy, Oh yes they were.

The dessert was mostly nyonya desserts.. but do not underestimate them. Fad smsed me this morning saying she had a dream abt Hyatt's kuih tat.. *roll eyes*

So finally we decided to give Liana her present..

Boring u say? Oh well.. she wanted money for her b'day so we were thinking vouchers would be kinda equivalent to money.. :D Now u can go shopping Liana!
Guess her b'day theme is obvious huh... heh
So it's CNY weekend.. and what a long weekend huh. Not for me though.. Aust hrs remember? And Australians dun celebrate CNY do they? So it's back to werk for me on Monday.. but i dun mind.. i get to earn more leaves! I get xtra leave when i werk during Singapore's public holidays.
Ohh.. and my first overseas trip this yr is gonna be Bangkok! It's been confirmed tickets and all.. i'll be goin at the end of March! Yes! Finally! Any tips of the good places to go to over there?? U can tell i'm excited can't u.. ;)
