This is gonna be a long overdue entry coz i've been truly bz the whole of last wk.. and i also went to Perak over the weekend onli to be back yesterday. Thank goodness its an Australian national holiday today too (Boxing Day) so i didn't have to go to werk.. otherwise i doubt i wld update this abandoned blog of mine. :P
Back to the long overdue pics of Syu's 22nd b'day celebration.. We treated her to High Tea at Cafe Vienna (Royal Scotts on Plaza). Nothing much to rave abt reallie but the desserts were kinda mouth watering..
And the chicken and mushroom pasta was super duper delicious... we had third and fourth helpings for this.. haha

Her 2nd present was on her wishlist.. Dun ask me why she wanted a book on Paris Hilton.. sumthin abt learning to wipe her ass wif money i think.. *shrugs*
Her 3rd present, a book on make-up.. her specialty. I hear she even bankrupted on various make-up brushes upon reading this book... :P
Her final present was a manicure/pedicure treat at The Good Earth Nail Spa... without nail polish of coz..
We initially wanted to treat her to mani/pedi at Dashing Diva, the all pink outlet u see near Suntec's entrance. It's sooo Syu.. even has Diva in its name. However, the prices were exorbitant. Twice the price of the The Good Earth Nail Spa. We decided she wasn't worth it. :P Mebbe next time Syu when/if we ever earn more than $5000 a month. heh
Last Friday, i had a X'mas party in the office where all the different teams had to dress up and there would be a best dressed team competition. There were 2 best dressed team awards and 1 best coordination award to be given out. My team won 1 of the best dressed awards. Our theme was Santa's Workshop and i was dressed as an elf. Yes, imagine a giant dressed as an elf if u must. Complete wif pointy ears. haha I'll post the pics some other time mebbe... haha
Moving on to the Perak trip, it was good fun. We went to 2 different water theme parks on Sat & Sun along wif a short shopping trip yesterday before heading home.

That's the first time i ever rode on a horse. I had an opportunity to go horseback riding when i was in Oklahoma City. But it was either that or go shopping.. obviously, i chose the latter. heh So anyway, back to my virgin horseback trotting experience? It was short but thank gdness for that. I felt like the horse was gonna trip and fall anytime. Mebbe it was tired? Or mebbe dat's just the way horses move. I dunno. Or mebbe its coz the poor horse had a giant on its back? Erm..
