I fainted in the crowded MRT this morning. Yes, fainted, blacked out, watever. Imagine that. Thank goodness my dear bf was there. I was supposed to accompany him for his physiotherapy session today and we were on our way when it happened. I haf no idea how or why.
All i knew was that i felt a little giddy at first and literally saw stars in front of my eyes (now i understand why cartoons usually haf stars or birds dancing around after they get knocked in the head). And then, i blacked out. The next thing i knew, i was on the floor and my darling was trying to get me upright and out of the MRT. He had to reschedule his appointment (poor baby), sat me down, bought me milo and sausage mcmuffin. My hero. :P After awhile, i felt better.
I dun understand why it happened though. Empty stomach? Hmm i had dinner the nite before but i didn't haf breakfast. Then again, it was onli 9.30am. There were times when i didnt eat anything at all till 9pm. And nuthin happened then. So why today? *shrugs*
Well, actually, i've fainted twice in my life before this. haha. First one was in primary school (p5/6), during assembly! We were saying the pledge or sumthin like dat. I felt giddy and knew i was abt to fall, so i held on to my fren's shoulder. She thot i was playing a fool so she brushed my hand away and the moment she did that, i fell like a sack of potatoes. Thank goodness there were bags ard me to cushion my fall. :P
2nd time was when i was in Sec 4. In my room. I juz stood up, and then suddenly, wham. I saw stars, blacked out, fell and hit my head on the floor. Obviously, i sustained a seriously huge egg-sized bump on my head after that. Mebbe dats why i'm a little mad now? heh
So this constitutes my 3rd time. Not that i'm keeping count of coz. :P My bf reckons this happens every 5 yrs of my life. Ridiculous but looking at the previous accounts, possible. So.. he has forbidden me to go anywhere in the year 2010 coz he says that's probably when i will next faint. What the.... :P
He was also expressing relief that i woke up on my own after awhile coz he was hafing trouble lifting me up. My hero can be cruel sumtimes. Pfftt.
